3AM IN NYC
Quick Strike or Nah?
We were thinking about releasing a limited amount of new hats named “3AMINNYC”. We are currently debating if we should keep these items exclusive vs creating a huge order and supplying the demand. This hat is set to release in the coming weeks… and we still have yet to decide of how we will handle this. I guess we will find out sooner or later.
The hat is creative yet simple; made for the sophisticated stylish male or female. We will be offering this hat in two colors: white and black. We envision this hat to be worn through all seasons of the year. Whether it’s paired with a t shirt during a summer night or a trench in the raining fall, this hat compliments all outfits and looks. The minimalistic idea of this unstructured hat is what makes it appealing; something that is creative, modest and different. What we value is what we know that is shelled inside our memories and if we remember everything we recognize our own values and others.
The thought of “I Remember Everything” can explain those blurred moments, weekends, summer nights, the shared laughter’s and violent arguments and all between. This is a powerful thought yet sensitive to each person’s perception. Everyone has their own vision to this thought when contemplating the different moments and vibes in their day.
Be on the lookout in the coming weeks!

Finalizing
ARSTS Joggers
Jumping into designing our first piece has taken longer than we have foreseen. From the origin of the idea to creating the sale piece is one long road of meetings, drawings, thinking and innovating. There are many reasons that drive the postponement of having a final sale piece. Here are some examples that we've experienced:
- Ideas- Original ideas are never final, but always evolving and changing through the design process.
- Time- Schedules with the producer and design team will have conflicts; it is inevitable.
- Money- Idea changes and time loss is the formula to creating budget constraints.
It is a lot of pressure when thinking about designing and producing. Do you ever wonder why designers are always perceived so hard on their staff?
Well if you think about it, their pressure scale is always at its max! They think, design and create 4-20 (depending on how fast they can get their ideas together) weeks to meet 1 of 2 seasonal deadlines each year and before they are able to see it on customer’s bodies they are already deep into the next season’s collection.
Currently, ARSTS is designing and creating at our own pace. We do not want to get caught up in the whole seasonal thing as of yet. Now, we like to focus on creating pieces that our consumers can identify with all year around. You will grasp the idea once the pieces become available, if you don’t understand as of yet.

The Prototype
It is so much work into bringing a design to life. After solidifying the design and vision there is a process where a mockup of the final design is put together. This is where the process of picking fabric and color swatches, cuts, sews, zippers and other details come into play. The prototype process exists for any changes that are required to be made before the final sample piece is produced. This is definitely where most of the planning is completed.
Is quality important?
Quality is very important to ARSTS and our customers will definitely recognize the time and quality put into each of our products. We ensure that our items hold a level of quality that can be worn to all social events. We like to compliment the confidence of our customers with the quality and make of our products.
When are we releasing the new products?
We are trying very hard to release these products very soon. We are making sure everything is made to our standards before making it available to you guys. Please follow our blogs and our social media accounts (Twitter and Instagram @arsts_) to stay updated! We would like to say in the coming weeks you will start to see remnants of our new products leak.
